Welcome to The Place for Counselling, an independent practice offering you professional and confidential Counselling and Psychotherapy in your local area of Bromley, South East London.

I am an experienced and qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist offering short term Counselling or longer term Pychotherapy on a one to one basis. I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and abide by their code of ethics. This ensures that as a professional therapist I will give you the highest standard of care at all times.

The cost of the assessment session is £40.

Each session lasts one hour which is longer than in other local practices.

My Practice

Close to the centre of Bromley but also close to West Wickham and Shortlands, my therapy room offers you comfort and confidentiality.

Within the security of a therapeutic relationship, you will be able to reflect on your problems that you may feel are just too hard to cope with on your own. It may feel strange at first to talk about these things and sometimes it takes a while to open up. Let me assure you that we will always go at your pace, and that you will never be under pressure to reveal anything you do not want to. When we are in crisis we all need to feel supported, and the relationship between therapist and client is above all supportive, non judgemental and respectful.

Location

My practice is within easy reach of Bromley, Croydon, Shirley, West Wickham, Beckenham, Shortlands, Penge, Sydenham, Hayes, Keston, Bickley, Orpington and Lewisham.

The bus route 367 from East Croydon runs close by as do buses from Bromley South Station which is only 5 minutes drive away. Buses are also frequent from West Wickham and Beckenham. Trains run frequently from Victoria to Bromley south.

There is unrestricted parking on the road outside and level access within the practice.
